I bought an nVIDIA GeForce™ 6200 256MB DDR2 AGP that is supposed to be a modified PC card re-engineered to work on a Powermac G4 & G5. Well, wouldn't you guess? It doesn't work. I get scrambled screens on both monitors. Nothing seems to work. There are no drivers available for the mac at the nvidia site. Not sure what to do next. Sep 12, 2009 - comp.sys.mac.advocacy ›. The BIOS settings for the video adapter using Win Vista should be OK for Win 7 RC. Do this from Safe Mode with Networking: Try Control Panel>System and Security>Action Center. Is a problem listed? If no, then select troubleshooting>Hardware and Sound>Hardware and Devices.

Did this resolve the issue? You could also try uninstalling any nVidia software listed in Control Panel>Programs>uninstall a program and then remove the device through device manager, and then reboot. Then let Win 7 RC find the device and configure it again Did you perform a clean installation of Win 7 RC?
That video adapter is supported by the nVidia driver and Win 7 RC and should function correctly. Hi Nano, thanks for your indications, I did all you say me. And really i did perform a clean installation. Now, in 'Device manager', mi card NVidia say 'This device is working properly'; but in 'Screen resolution' in Desktop 'Advanced settings' the Adapter type is not Nvidia. Hi Nano and I am tagging in here as I have a 6200 card in an AGP 8 slot and I have the same result. The hardware manager says the driver is installed but the screen resolution in the Desktop says VGA Save. To add to this I have a second 6200 card in a PCI slot and when that card is enabled the system does the blue screen of death during startup.
Both cards are detected and installed in the hardware manager but I have to disable the second card in 'safe mode' to get the system to start. Regards Morrgainne.
